New Post Format: Infographics

It’s become clear, based on feedback, that readers value the infographics I create just as much as the articles in which they are contained. As you can imagine, these graphics take a lot of time to put together, and I’ve become not too fond of the long pause between article releases. I’d rather publish something regularly, and some of these graphics are articles in themselves, requiring the same time and effort to assemble. Fun fact: 90% of the time to create a Conks article is spent on the graphics.

Accordingly, I’ll be sending out the more substantial infographics as separate posts as soon as I finish them. Why do this? Readers receive my finished graphics immediately after completion. Moreover, subscribers can ask questions and get clarification on anything they are unsure about in a dedicated space with a comments section. Plus, as an added extra for subscribers, I will include a much-requested light version for each infographic. I’m taking requests for previous illustrations to convert to light mode (from dark mode).

One more thing: As of now, I have yet to launch a merch store — as some requested, because I can’t find the time. In the interim, take inspiration from readers who have showcased awesome DIY versions:

If you’d rather wait until the publication of the articles to view the graphics, you can simply turn off the “Infographics” slider here and only receive the articles in which the graphics are contained.

As an example of a future post, the first infographic I’ve converted to light mode is the most requested: “The Repo Market Visualized”.
